Tissue Macrophages

Tissue macrophages are a kind of macrophage found in connective tissues, notably loose connective tissues. Under a microscope, they appear to have a distinct grain-like texture in comparison to that of fibroblasts, and they are also much larger at scanning through high power.

Tissue macrophages are derived from leukocytes.
